Artur Bauer (second from the left) is wearing a chequered dress jacket with a pocket square, shirt, tie, long trousers, dress shoes. He is holding a hat in his left hand. The other man is wearing a suit, shirt, chequered bowtie, a hat on his head, closed shoes, he is holding his hands in the pockets of his trousers. His jacket is unbuttoned; a pocket square is visible in the breast pocket. Visible in the background are buildings and other pedestrians. The item is a modern print; the original photo was taken before World War II. The copy was developed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper. The reverse is blank. Artur Bauer was Izydor Marek Bauer’s brother. He migrated to Palestine with his family before 1939. | Text by Monika Harchut
