Portrait of Aleksandra Potocka, née Lubomirska
2nd half of the 19th century
Castle Museum in Łańcut
Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
Portrait of three children in summer clothes, the oldest girl holds a doll. She is very similar to the girl from the previous photo in the collection, only slightly older, maybe even holding the same doll. It can be assumed that it is Halina Baruch, about eight years old in the case of this photo. Her younger sister Maria was then five years old – just as the girl pictured in the middle can be (which seems to support the hypothesis that the picture in question from the collection of Halina née Baruch is a representation of herself and her sister, especially since the picture has no description: she did not have to describe it for herself). We do not know who the boy next to them would be (their younger brother Kazimierz was born only in 1905).
