Warecka Street in Warsaw is located in the centre of Warsaw in the Śródmieście district. The first mention of this street dates back to the 16th century. Its name comes from the wooden manor house of Wareckie, which belonged to the head of the district authority of Warka, Józef Pulaski. Some of the destroyed buildings were rebuilt in the 1950s, and new buildings were also built, such as the building of the National Bank of Poland, which is currently located there. Currently, the surface is also made of pre-war pavement made of granite cubes.
The photo comes from the album of the Lubomirski princes from Przeworsk.
