Cecylia Lubomirska was the daughter of Andrzej Artur Zamoyski, a politician and industrialist, and Róża, née Potocka, of the Złota Pilawa coat of arms. In 1854 she married Prince Jerzy Lubomirski, the literary curator of the Ossolineum and the Ordynat of Przeworsk. Together with her husband, she had four children (one child died as an infant): Teresa, Maria, Andrzej and Kazimierz. She died in 1904 in Cracow and was buried in the Chapel of St. Rose of Lima in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Cracow.
