Metal lacquered plate in the shape of a flower with six petals, sharp-edged in the central part. Covered with dark red carved lac, so called t’i hung. Decorative motifs include references to the concept of the Penglai Immortal Islands - the mythical home of the so-called Immortals. On the bottom palace architecture, bridges, pavilions, waterfront terraces and figures of Immortals - Taoist deities. On the rim, stylized waves, rocks. Brass Edge frame. Underneath, on the rim, symbols of so called "priceless objects". The bottom is covered with black smooth lac with engravings and red-painted pomegranate, peach, pear and so called "Buddha's hand". (citrus medica). As a common species to Chinese nature, they soon took on religious significance as Buddhists saw in them the shape of a hand folded in prayer. These unusual citrus fruits are valued ornaments and offerings in Buddhist temples to this day. In the center an engraved signature: Ta ch’ing ch’ien Lung nien hao. China
