Part of the collection: The family memorabilia of Justmans and Włodawers
An undated letter from Warsaw to Paulina Włodawer, mainly from her parents - Miriam Justman (first two pages) and Aron Justman; a short note (best regards) with a signature of: Pinie [?], probably the younger brother of Paulina Włodawer Pinchas, and a bit more extensive, in pencil - with a hardly legible signature of: L [?] Justman, probably of Lejb Justman, her younger brother. In the left corner on the bottom of the third and last page number: 1373 in pencil. It can be assumed that this is a letter from the first period after the parting, sent to Lutsk: it is probably about the death of Artur Włodawer's mother. Miriam Justman also writes in a rather cheerful tone: So far, thanks be to God, we have managed and we are living in the hope that God will help us and that we will see each other soon, that is what I dream about day and night. She writes about their grief on Purim when they were remembering. In his note, Lejb Justman (as it seems), reproaches Artur Włodawer for not adding anything to the letter of Paulina Włodawer - maybe wedding wishes?. He indicates that he is writing on the street (Pawia), resting the piece of paper against the wall, hence the lack of an annotations from his wife.
