Part of the collection: Painting and drawing
Johann Baptist Clarot according to the drawings of Alexander von Bensy Die Kleine Wienerfahrt, 183032. Two pictures in a single frame, deriving from the historical Potocki collection from Łańcut, presenting the carriages of the Vienna aristocracy; they belong to a series of 12 coloured lithographs with oil underpainting, glued to the canvass and put in six wooden frames (two pictures in each) with pine veneer and rosettes in corners. The described pictures present (the upper one): a rider on a bay horse, a black and yellow stanhope carriage drawn by two horses and driven by the owner; behind it, there are two riders on bay horses and at the end a dark-olive charette pulled by a single horse and driven by the owner; (the bottom one) a dark olive barouche and a yellow coupѐ, both of them pulled by two horses and driven by coachmen from the box seat, with servants sitting in the barouche and in the coupѐ standing on the bench.
