A portrait of Henryk Lubomirski by Angelika Kaufmann, 1920s/ 1930s. The photograph depicts a portrait of prince Henryk Lubomirski (1777-1850), son to castellan Józef Lubomirski from Równe and Ludwiki Sosnowska, raised by princess Izabella Lubomirska. Since 1807, was married to Teresa Czartoryska, daughter to Józef Klemens and father to Izabela Władysławowa Sanguszko, Jadwiga Eugeniuszowa de Ligne, Dorota and Jerzy Henryk. He owned Przeworsk, given to him by the princess, and the Vienna palace. He was a Maltese order chevalier and curator of the National Ossolińscy institute, as well as the creator of the Lubomirscy museum of Lviv. The portrait by Angelika Kaufmann was created, as all portraits of Henryk, in his childhood and youth, by commission of princess Izabella Lubomirska nee Czartoryska. Given to him by the princess, it was located in Przeworsk and at the residence of prince Andrzej Lubomirski – grandson to prince Henryk, in Lviv – presently in the collection of the Berlin museum.
