Hooded Cupid A bisque figurine of Cupid, who is standing in slight contrapposto, wearing a monk's cowl on his head and a corded belt around his waist, on which a bow and quiver are hanging. The Cupid, smiling, is reaching for an arrow with his left hand and holding out his right hand in front of him. In the back, there is a tree stump-shaped support. The figurine is placed in a rectangular display case with glass walls enclosed in brown frames, with a wooden platform painted brown and decorated with classicist bronze ornaments. The bisque was made in the Sèvres porcelain factory, famous for its bisque pottery production, mainly figurines distinguished by their great artistic features. It was made in the fourth quarter of the 18th c., according to the design of Charles André Van Loo. Its modeller was Joseph Le Riche, employed in the Sèvres porcelain factory from 1757, a master modeller from 1780. The object comes from the collection of Princess Izabela Lubomirska (1736-1816), the owner of the Łańcut Castle.
