Popularization note

Saucepan from the collection of the Potocki family, 19th century. Copper tin saucepan, fairly deep, with handle. The vessel is cylindrical in shape, slightly tapering towards the bottom, with the bottom and the sides additionally reinforced with a rim of copper sheet, up to one third of the height, with a profiled rim quite densely riveted with decorative rivets. On the side of the saucepan a triangular plate attached by three rivets, which is the base for a long, straight handle, slightly widening towards the end with a small hole for hanging the saucepan. The saucepan is tinned on the inside. It is exhibited in the Eastern Corridor of the second floor, where copper wares (vessels), which are mainly the remains of the no longer existing castle kitchens are gathered.
