Shell-shaped dessert plate Shell-shaped faience dessert plate, flat, with a ribbed surface and a stepped protrusion on the edge, which acts as a handle. Tinted with pale pink and, on the edge, pinkish-red paint. The plate was made in the second half of the 19th c., in the famous English ceramics factory Wedgwood in Burslem, Staffordshire. The factory belonged to Josiah Wedgwood (1730-1795) in the second half of the 18th c. It is one of the two extant plates of the former owners of the castle - the Potocki family.
