Photograph of  Bolesław Mamelok (?)

Popularization note

The cabinet photograph, a portrait in front, a bust, of a man in his fifties or sixties, wearing a white shirt and a dark jacket with wide lapels, with a beard fashionable in Germany at the end of the 19th century: moustache going up to the cheeks and broad sideburns going down below the beard. The photograph is stuck on a cardboard box with the printed photographer's logo, the founder of the atelier in Wroclaw, and a company print on the back. The remarkable resemblance to the man depicted in the photograph MPOLIN-A25.1.44 (most probably showing Józef Mamelok's parents) and Wrocław as the place of the photograph's taking lead us to believe that the man depicted is Józef Mamelok's father (somewhat younger than on the photograph mentioned above), Bolesław (Baruch) Mamelok.
