Part of the collection: Painting and drawing
Johann Baptist Clarot according to the drawings of Alexander von Bensy Die Kleine Wienerfahrt, 183032. Two pictures in a single frame deriving from the historical Potocki collection from Łańcut present carriages of the Vienna aristocracy; they belong to a series of 12 coloured lithographs with oil underpainting, glued to the canvass, framed in six wooden frames (two pictures in each) with pine veneer and rosettes in corners. The described pictures present (the upper one): three barouche carriages: yellow, dark-olive and verdigris, all drawn by two horses with coachmen and servants ˗ in the first one, the servants are standing, and in the latter two they are sitting on benches; (the bottom one): a yellow landau à la d’Aumont and a dark-olive coupѐ also drawn by two horses, driven by a coachman from the box and with servants standing on benches.
