Utensil for Sauté Dishes A utensil made of copper plate, crafted manually; a product of Vienna from the turn of the 20th century from the Potocki collection. The discussed utensil is quite deep, in the shape of a flat cylinder with a strongly curved lower edge. In the middle of the mantle, a steel handle was attached, quite long, curved and ended semi-circularly with a teardrop-shaped opening for hanging. The handle is attached to the mantle with rivets; in the middle of the height of the hand-piece, the number “36” was imprinted. Inside, the utensil was tinned. The discussed utensil is exhibited in the Eastern Corridor on the second floor, together with other vessels made of copper, which predominantly constitute remnants after the no longer existing castle kitchens.
