One can guess that here is shown the scene of the camp assembly in Stutthof, during which the prisoners, on the order of the executioner-conductor standing in the middle, on a raised platform, with their arms raised, perform squats (the title Kniebojgen, German: Kniebeugen - squats). Celnikier was sent to the Stutthof camp in November 1943, after a stay in prison in Łomża.
